Huge congratulations to all the WAVE Multi Academy Trust students who are receiving their exam results today.

天美app is the largest Alternative Provision (AP) provider in the South West, with six Academies based in Cornwall, three Academies based in Devon and the Community and Hospital Education Service (CHES) based across two centres in Devon and Cornwall.
Wave is also the most successful Alternative Provision MAT in the country by Ofsted outcome, with two of its Cornwall academies judged as 鈥淥utstanding鈥 and the remaining five judged as 鈥淕ood鈥.
鈥淲e are very proud of the fantastic quality of education that we offer to the most vulnerable and challenging pupils in Cornwall and Devon鈥 said Rob Gasson.
鈥淚t is one of the greatest rewards as a teacher to watch a student鈥檚 face change from anxious anticipation to complete joy as they find out their results and, judging by the smiles all around us today, our students have secured the results they need to pursue their dreams.鈥
Young people now have access to more pathways than ever before. As well as choosing to go to college, they can also opt for work based learning such as an apprenticeship or take part in part time education or training if they are employed, self-employed or volunteering for 20 hours or more per week.
鈥淭his is a very important time for these young people who will be making key decisions which will affect their future lives.鈥 said Rob Gasson. 鈥淲ave staff are on hand at all our settings to provide them with support and guidance to help them take the next steps of their education and careers.鈥
Wave has also been commissioned by Cornwall Council to provide education services for children and young people while they are receiving specialist treatment at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust鈥檚 new child and adolescent mental health unit 鈥淪owenna鈥 which is currently being built on the Bodmin Hospital Site.
